Walmart Spark Good Local Grant

The Walmart Spark Good Local Grant supports our youth programs and community efforts. This funding directly enhances youth services, provides resources for families, and strengthens our ability to maintain ongoing programs throughout the year.

Walmart Spark Good Local Grant – Second Award

Urbana Walmart
Award Date: 2025

AYSRC received a second Spark Good Local Grant within the same week, demonstrating strong community support for our mission. This funding will help sustain program operations, expand outreach, and provide essential resources to the youth we serve.

How Grant Funding Helps

Every grant we receive allows us to strengthen support programs, including:

Youth Support and Case Management
Crisis response, stabilization support, safety planning, and individualized services for youth and families.

Education and Academic Assistance
Tutoring, educational materials, test preparation support, and enrichment activities.

Life Skills and Workforce Readiness
Financial literacy workshops, job readiness training, and independent living preparation.

Community Outreach and Prevention
Violence prevention, youth engagement activities, and family-centered community programs.

Emergency Needs and Supplies
Meals, hygiene products, clothing, backpacks, school supplies, transportation support, and essential care items.

Future Funding Goals
